English Scissors was born years ago in some historically interesting location. The fact that a university (one of Europe’s oldest) existed in the city probably rubbed on to her newborn brain, and even after she moved to another historically interesting location, everything pertaining to books and reading appealed to her.
Soon, she learnt how to read and write (somewhere before daily routines and after potty training), and has been hooked ever since.
Throughout her childhood, this young girl lived fascinated with basically everything, and her hobbies included the aforementioned reading, as well as watching documentaries, drinking berry tea, looking for the Fae, playing with her miscroscope, collecting bugs and beheading dolls (or putting them all into ~free love~ mode due to the existence of too many odd numbers among her Barbies).
Now, nearly a decade later, she indulges in similar things — reading, watching BBC miniseries, drinking tea, wearing boy vests and attempting to build tazers.
Besides books and tea, she likes her cat, her friends, poetry, travelling and vegetarian food. Her biggest heroes include William Shakespeare, Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Mary Shelley, John Keats, Ada Lovelace and many more. Oh, and also — Marc Bolan, Marie Curie and anybody who’s made progress in the fight for the rights of womankind.
If she were any fictional character, she would be Victor Frankenstein, Fanny Derham, or Coraline.
